In New Eden, the Caldari State remains a bastion of order, discipline, and economic supremacy. But in a cluster overrun by foreign subversion, decentralized media, and propaganda wars, even the most efficient State cannot afford to lose control of its own narrative.ㅤ

In YC126, amid increasing cultural erosion and rising Gallente-aligned information networks, two Caldari patriots took matters into their own hands—not by decree, but through initiative. Thus, The State News Agency (TSNA) was born: an independent news corporation, loyal to the State, but free from megacorporate bureaucracy.


The creation of the TSNA was spearheaded by two influential figures within the Caldari State

• Ryan Elich – A former Navy admiral and seasoned intelligence strategist, Ryan retired from active service to form the Caldari Alliance, a capsuleer-led coalition committed to supporting State sovereignty across the Black Rise and Lonetrek region. Disillusioned by propaganda leaks and foreign media influence, he envisioned a decentralized yet patriotic press arm to support the alliance’s messaging and outreach.

• Isaki Andas – CEO of Caldari Research & Development [CARND], a State-sanctioned auxiliary corporation operating in Black Rise and Lonetrek. With a deep background in strategic infrastructure and planetary logistics, Andas recognized the critical role of information security and narrative control. His experience managing research, civil logistics, and State installations in volatile border systems led him to support the creation of a news agency that could reinforce Caldari morale and counter soft-power incursions.


Unlike traditional State broadcasters controlled by the megacorps, TSNA operates independently, funded by private investments and Caldari Alliance contributions. While not officially State-run, the agency maintains close strategic ties with the Caldari Navy, reports heavily on Caldari Alliance operations, and promotes pro-State narratives across its multiple data channels.


TSNA’s core mandates include

• Publishing verified, timely news that supports Caldari citizens and alliance capsuleers.
• Countering disinformation and propaganda from Gallente and Minmatar sources.
• Broadcasting Caldari military victories, industry milestones, and cultural achievements.
• Serving as a public-facing information service for the Caldari Alliance and affiliated corps.


While the megacorporations were initially skeptical of TSNA’s independence, its rapid success in unifying frontline communications and bolstering civilian morale earned it begrudging respect — and a silent nod from the CEP.
