The Addamses are a satirical inversion of the ideal New Eden family; an eccentric, Relaxed clan who delight in the macabre and are unaware that people find them bizarre or frightening. Although they share macabre interests, the Addamses are not evil. They are a close-knit extended family. Trained to endure pain and in return still love to be tortured and teaches how to enjoy it.
